According to the RCP average of polls, President Joe Biden now has an approval rating of 53%. He has a disapproval of 41.4% according to the average. Recent polls released that have been factored into the average are the Reuters/Ipsos poll and the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking poll. The Ipsos poll shows President Biden with a job approval of 54% and a disapproval of 42%. The Rasmussen survey gives Biden a job approval of 49% and a disapproval of 49%.
In the Ohio GOP Senate Primary, former Ohio State Treasurer and Iraq War veteran Josh Mandel leads in a recent poll put out on that race. According to the Moore Information Group/ Jane Timken internal poll, Mandel leads the pack with 24% of likely voters. Timken was in second with 19%.
This race is to fill the seat being vacated by retiring Republican Senator Rob Portman.
In the Ohio 11th Congressional District Special Election Democratic Primary, former Ohio State Senator and Progressive Democrat Nina Turner leads the field with 50% of likely voters supporting her candidacy, according to Turner’s own internal polling. Turner was the National Co-Chair of Bernie Sanders 2020 Democratic Primary Presidential campaign.
Ohio 11 was vacated by former Representive Marcia Fudge, who was confirmed as President Biden’s HUD Secretary in March.
