New Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday, June 4, Shows President Biden With an Approval Rating of 49%.

According to the new Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll, 49% of likely voters approve of the President’s job performance. That’s a decrease of one percentage point from yesterday. 49% of respondents to the survey registered their disapproval. Included in the results of this poll are 32% who Strongly Approve of Biden’s job performance and 40% who Strongly Disapprove.

Former Navy SEAL and brother of former SEAL Marcus Luttrell, Morgan Luttrell, of Houston has announced that he will be running for the open Congressional Seat, vacated by retiring Republican Congressman Kevin Brady, in next years Republican primary. Kevin Brady represents the 8th Congressional District, in the Houston Metropolitan area.

Both Marcus and Morgan Luttrell are close supporters of former Texas Governor Rick Perry.

Former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw represents the 6th Congressional District out in Houston.

Allan West has announced his resignation as Chair of the Republican Party of Texas, effective at 5 P.M. this afternoon. There are indications that he might throw his hat into the ring to challenge Governor Greg Abbott in next years Republican Gubernatorial primary. Dallas businessman Don Huffines and Conservative humorist Chad Prather have already announced that they will be doing so.

Though, I’m not sure if any has filed yet.

Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, the son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, announced the other day that he’ll be challenging Ken Paxton, who is under federal indictment for Securities fraud in next years Republican primary for Attorney General. He appears to he running on an anti-corruption platform.
